A great question came from a user, he asked: “Why do we talk while we shoot?”

We teach the Lock, Arc, Swish method so that you start to train your mind so you don’t have to think. But that takes verbal commands at first. Remember when you first started to tie your shoes? You might have had a little rhyme like:

Over, under, around and through,
Meet Mr. Bunny Rabbit, pull and through.

You say that to train yourself, and then eventually you can tie your shoes without even looking! Shooting a basketball is a bit more complicated, but the same principle applies.
