Stan Kellner, a founder of mental training for sports, told the story of how he was running a marathon. At mile 11, he thought he was going to quit, he couldn’t go on. But as he was running, from behind him, he heard another running chanting! The guy was chanting this:

“Do the thing that is hard to do and the power will come!
Do the thing that is hard to do and the power will come!”

This inspired Mr. Kellner, who began chanting the phrase himself. He was chanting it and really, really believing it! He started chanting it super loud, and with lots of passion! (Like you should be doing your master mantra!)

No matter what you do in life – remember this chant. During a hard workout, or when you have a job, or in school, or when you have to do something for your family. Do the thing that is hard to do and the power will come! It’s guaranteed!
